Il progetto ha un’impostazione minimalista, di estrema pulizia formale. Il disegno scaturisce da un attento studio dei volumi e individua due locali espositivi di diversa matrice formale che si compenetrano articolandosi su due livelli distinti.
Nel primo ambito dominano le linee ortogonali, le pareti illuminate da una tettoia sono incise da tagli orizzontali. Il secondo ambiente, pensato per ospitare le collezioni di calzature e accessori, è fortemente connotato dalla pianta ovale nella quale si inserisce il disegno dei gradini di accesso e del controsoffitto che va ad invadere lo spazio superiore, definendo la compenetrazione tra i due volumi.
Lo spazio essenziale è contaminato da dettagli di arredo dal sapore retrò quali la parete rivestita in mosaico, i due lampadari e la poltrona, pezzi anni Cinquanta provenienti dalla Francia.
Renovation work on the store was meant to give the shop a new image by creating a space with minimal furnishings and plastic forms, designed as an extremely formal and linear minimalist setting.
These newly designed spaces were carefully studied so as to determine two interlocking display rooms on two distinct levels, which is also a way to identify different types of wear: one area is for shoes while the other is for clothing.
The first room is dominated by orthogonal lines and the walls are lit by cuts in the plasterboard ceiling. The second room hosts the footwear and accessories collection, and is strongly characterized by an oval shape where the steps and ceiling reveal just how the two volumes interlock.
This simple space is cross-pollinated with a few details that give a retro flavour to the entire space: the walls covered with mosaic tiles, as well as two chandeliers and two armchairs, both of which are French 1950s.
