’appartamento si sviluppa su due livelli in un palazzo della seconda metà del secolo scorso e si affaccia a 360° su Milano. Il layout prevede una zona notte con tre camere da letto e soggiorno al settimo piano e, al piano superattico, una grande zona giorno con cucina e doppio living affacciata sulla maxi terrazza.
Il grande volume interamente vetrato del superattico è stato realizzato ex novo sulla terrazza con un affaccio spettacolare sui tetti del centro di Milano.
Filo conduttore di tutta la casa sono le superfici in resina della scala e di tutte le pedane e i dislivelli presenti, declinata in tinta grigio carta da zucchero. Anche gli arredi parlano il linguaggio della luminosità: parquet rovere biondo naturale, laccature lucide bianche, tortora e azzurre degli arredi su disegno, il Corian candido dei mobili dei bagni e del top della cucina e, infine, le grafiche carte da parati che riproducono temi arborei.
Particolare attenzione è stata riservata alla cura del verde, sempre visibile da ogni ambito interno e illuminato di notte da luci puntuali che trasformano gli esterni in un palcoscenico luminoso.
The two-floor apartment is located in a building from the second half of the twentieth century in Milan’s historical centre.
The new layout for the apartment consists in a sleeping area with three bedrooms and a living room on the top floor (the 7th) and a large open plan living area, including a kitchen and double living room, on the penthouse floor (the 8th) open onto a big terrace.
Interior and exterior spaces are also emphasized by the types of materials used: blond and white oak flooring was chosen for the outdoor terraces and balconies as well as for the interior of the apartment.
Resin-clad surfaces in a blue-grey colour are a recurring motif of the project, visible in the stairway, the steps at each of the levels and the walkways.
Special attention was paid to the greenery for the terraces which are visible from indoors; at night a sophisticated lighting system transforms the terraces into a stage.
