A Behind the Scenes Look / Shade Abstractions
Il progetto Shade Abstractions nasce da una collaborazione tra l’architetto Carlo Donati e l’artista Marco Petrus. Le linee dell’edificio residenziale P19 e del volume a lame gialle adiacente, firmati dallo studio Donati, sono stati tradotti in una composizione astratta ad opera dell’artista. In occasione del Fuorisalone 2019 nella hall del nuovo edificio, che ospita un grande dipinto site specific di Petrus, sono esposti i paraventi disegnati da Donati e decorati dall’artista milanese.

The Shade Abstractions project is born by a collaboration between the architect Carlo Donati and the artist Marco Petrus. The lines of the residential building P19 and the adjacent volume with the yellow glass blades, designed by Donati Studio, have been translated in an abstract composition by the artist. During the Milan Design Week 2019, in the hall of the new building which hosts a big site specific painting of Petrus, are displayed the room-dividers.
